As residents in certain parts of the island grapple with the aftermath of Tropical Storm Bret, concerned citizens are jumping into action to bring relief to the most affected.
Here is a look at the organisations helping out and need your assistance.
Sewa International TT
Sewa International TT (Sewa TT) is assisting the relief effort in storm-affected areas.
In a release, the organisation said it is liaising with Members of Parliament, Regional Corporations and the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) to identify areas and individuals in need of assistance.
Sewa is providing ready-to-eat food which would be distributed to those affected.
Subway has agreed to provide vegetarian 6" sandwiches at a cost of $10.00 each.
"One hundred sandwiches have been ordered so far which will be delivered to residents in Caparo in the next couple hours.
If you would like to assist in sponsoring some sandwiches please visit any of the locations on the flyer (see instructions on flyer) or Anushka Dube 394-9915 directly to arrange sponsorship.
